Hi everyone, I hope you're having a great weekend. Over here, we're knee-deep in celebrating July 4th (tomorrow). There will be swimming and playing by day, cookouts and fireworks by night and . . . lots of heat. 95˚F ish. Now: The beginning of my second alphabet, after doing "Black and White with a bit of texture" for my first alphabet, I'm going all out with color! Also using a modern font as the last one was rather ancient.

Gosh you people are fast... or maybe I'm slow. Lovely, sensitive letters Jan.
ReplyDeleteI really like the feel of these letters Jan - gentle but interesting and intriguing...
ReplyDeleteThough I'm not making an alphabet, I'm following along because I find it so endlessly fascinating. I love your take on this - simple letters but each square a different color and texture. Very cool! I can't wait to see the progression. How big are the squares?
