Alphabet 2 for 2011 is done! I am pleased with the final result of this alphabet. I had this in mind when I started, so it was a hard thing to get my head around doing it week by week.
It bubbled away for months, but as usual I rushed it at the end and the lettering is not as beautiful as I would have liked.
this book is beautiful i love it. i think with blogger you have to insert the photo you want to see first 'last'! if that makes sense. looking forward to see what you do next
ReplyDeleteWonderfully done!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a gorgeous book... and so neat! The pages are lush with lovely marks. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI just love this idea - it's like a calligraphy primer. Colorful but simple enough that each letter stands on its own. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove this Meg, and love the book, I can't quite figure out how you have bound this, looks like an accordian to me but then in the 2nd photo the pages seem bound on the outer fold. If it's not giving away your best kept secrets can you tell or post more photos? Great alphabet.
ReplyDeleteNo secrets Liz. In the first photo I opened it the normal way and in the second I opened it sideways - possible because it is square I guess. I think it sits better this way.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the comments,
Meg
These are beautiful and unique, I love them!
