Herewith my first submission for the ALAW 2011 after playing catch-up! Title is White on Black with a touch of metallic Pink! I made 7cm squares of black card with ruled metallic pink around the edges. I used a Derwent Pastel White Pencil to draw the letters then painted them with a combination of white gouache and acrylic white paint mixed together with a hint of the metallic pink in the strokes of the letters. After drawing and decorating the letters I then cut up the black card to make a concertina folded book but will display it open as the completed cut up card will make an interesting shape (well, I think so!!)
