I went with Black and White and a touch of .... copper!
I adhered copper leaf with PVA (cheating I know! :-) and only lightly burnished it to bring up some sheen.
The stencilling didn't go quite as cleanly as I'd hoped but I'm enjoying how they look together, overall. I'm still in process of making their final display method.

Such mesmerising results Lee - well worth the wait! I think the copper is just such a delicate touch for these pieces. Beautiful!

ReplyDeleteThanks, this has been a great experience for me, learning to relax and embrace the chance inherent in both prcesses is exactly what I challanged myself to do with these.
